Welcome to the Centre for
Disability Inclusive Yoga
At Disability Inclusive Yoga, we educate and empower yoga teachers and studio owners to be disability aware and confident, which opens up the practice of yoga for people of all abilities.
Our learning modules ensure that every participant will learn about disability and have the knowledge and confidence to create a culture of inclusion, where every body can experience the benefits of yoga in a supportive and welcoming environment.
About Us
This journey began with a simple question fueled by a deep passion: how accessible and inclusive is my Yoga Studio?
That led to another question: how disability aware and confident are yoga instructors and studio owners?
At the Centre for Disability Inclusive Yoga we are empowering yoga studios and instructors to be disability inclusive. Our approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to inclusion, accessibility, diversity, and excellence.

Our Mission
To make yoga disability inclusive everywhere.
The Centre for Disability Inclusive Yoga exists to advance disability inclusion within the yoga industry by educating teachers and studio owners on how to create accessible, equitable, and integrated experiences. So that every body and every person can share in the joy of yoga.
Our Ethos
28% of the population identifies as a person who has a disability, yet the yoga community often doesn't reflect that.
The Centre strives to make this change. We help studios and instructors overcome challenges by demystifying disability; increasing awareness; explaining inclusion, ableism and intersectionality; and teaching how to attract students who have a disability.
We provide an understanding of disability, and provide resources on how to create accessible studio spaces, how to build disability inclusive teams, and how to engage with the local disability community.
